Pet care experience
I grew up with golden retrievers and attended all of their “puppy kindergarten” training. I housesat and cared for dogs in my neighborhood as well as for family and friends growing up. In 2018, I was a professional pet care specialist for the Chicago-based company Bark by the Park. I housesat, cared for, and walked all sizes, breeds, and ages of dogs. I also cared for cats and other small animals while working for Bark by the Park.

We highly recommend Rachel for any dog-sitting needs. She was communicative throughout the process, loved our senior dog and left the house in the exact same condition as when we left, possibly even better. Very grateful for her time and efforts.

A typical day
LOTS of playtime. I am not afraid to get on the floor and roll around with your pup and play some tug-of-war! I can also provide runs rather than just walks and I’m more than happy to take them to your local dog park. Playtime is so important for cats, too! And I love nothing more than a cat who just wants to snuggle.

I work part-time so while I cannot be with your pet 24/7, I can make many stops to your home throughout the day to walk, feed, and play with your furry friend.
