During high school and college, I worked as a veterinary assistant; three of those years as an emergency veterinary assistant in a large hospital. I have experience medicating animals with a multitude of medical conditions and am well versed in caring for diabetics. I am very calm and deal well with shy or nervous dogs. I have experience with nearly every breed and age; from hypoglycemic chihuahua puppies to hyperglycemic St. Bernards. I love the large breeds, as I have two big dogs of my own - a Catahoula/ Pit mix and a Rottweiler. I am very active and enjoy running and walking as much as I can. I can easily coordinate mid day runs with dogs. I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. That being said, I cannot accommodate staying overnight and offer drop in services only.
