Pet care experience
I'm a young professional that can't yet have a dog of my own, so I would love to spoil yours! I've had dogs my whole life, that is until I moved away for college. I started Rover sitting so I could still have a dog to pamper and absolutely loved it! I've made lots of canine pals over the years and I'd love to meet your pup too. I understand how dogs are special members of the family, I absolutely love my family's Shih Tzu- Poodle, Annie! I work in a dog friendly office, so I if your dog is up for it, we can spend the whole day together! I love the break to re-energize with some puppy play, and want to ensure your dog feels just as loved as they do when you're there.

Rachel is a lifesaver! When our trip the east coast got extended unexpectedly due to snowstorms, we needed to find a new Rover housesitter to watch our 5 month old puppy, Txako (as the current Rover sitter was not able to extend his stay). Rachel quickly came to our rescue by responding to our stay inquiry quickly and compassionately. She took care notes over the phone and then was able to coordinate with our existing Rover sitter to do a puppy/home "hand off" while we were thousands of miles away. She kept us up to date with puppy pics and updates, and left our house in perfect condition. Bonus: she had no qualms about turning over the bedding/linens in our guest room herself, since we were not home to change them out between housesitters. We came home to a happy, healthy puppy who can't wait to have Rachel come stay with him again. We'd recommend her services to anyone, wholeheartedly!
Rachel was the perfect mix of attentive and patient with our rescue dog, Kylo. Our pup is very slow to warm up to people and Rachel was great with the acclimation and gaining his trust. She also was very patient with his anxiousness and anxiety around strangers, taking him on walks but keeping him from others and becoming upset. We know how challenging that can be and greatly appreciate Rachel taking it on. It was our first time away and the pictures and videos she sent of him enjoying himself really helped us be at ease that he was doing well. Already hoping Rachel is free for our next time away from home!

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I live less than a block from Greenlake park where I love to take walks and runs. Your dog's sleeping arrangement I'm happy to accommodate whatever sleep routine your dog is used to! Time I'll spend with your dog If you are comfortable with it, I can bring your dog to work at my dog friendly office, meaning we can hang out all day long! I live near Greenlake and love to take dogs for walks or runs there, I also have a car and would be happy to take your pup to a their favorite dog park. I'm always up for a good game of fetch in your yard, or whatever your dog enjoys the most! If they're the kind of dog that just likes time with people, I'm more than happy to spend time snuggling or giving belly rubs. If your dog is used to a specific routine, I'll be sure to maintain their feeding, bathroom and/or medication schedule to ensure they're comfortable while you're away. I'd also be happy to discuss any other house-sitting tasks you might need taken care of.
