Hi Fur Parents! I have spent my entire life with dogs of all shapes and sizes. They are the most fun, love-able, bffs in the whole animal kingdom. My first job was working at a dog boarding ranch and ever since them Ive been poop scooping, walking, cuddling and caring for dogs in and out of our home. We hired Rachel to do drop-in visits while on vacation for a week. We appreciated her willingness to care for our elderly pets (including giving medication). Rachel was given a checklist in writing of specific instructions that we had discussed in-person and mutually agreed on. When we arrived home, our dog and cat's water looked as if it hadn't been changed for 2+ days and one of the litter boxes appeared as if it hadn't been cleaned all week. Our cat urinated outside of the box because it was so full and there was feces and litter scattered all around it. A note was left behind to explain that our elderly dog was possibly constipated for two days but we were never notified of any potential health issues while we were away. Likewise, another note was left stating that she missed a scheduled visit due to an issue at her primary place of business. We checked our security cameras while we were away and on one occasion, we heard loud music blaring in our home when none of our tvs or speakers were left on.
Rachel was AMAZING!! Being new to the area with no family around, my husband and I had to use either a border or sitter for the first time. We found Rachel and after meeting her agreed to have Grace stay with her for 10 days while we went on vacation. She sent me pictures and gave me updates while I was gone. When I was supposed to pick Grace up I had car trouble and Rachel was so flexible and easygoing that I was able to leave her there an additional day. I will absolutely have her puppy sit for me again.
Rachel and her family were perfect hosts for Pepper. The location was near to us and she was very courteous and updated us with pictures often during the stay. She responded to all our questions immediately. Our dog had a wonderful time with her family.We would definitely use her services in future. She comes highly recommded by us.
Jossi had an awesome time with Rachel and Moose! It has never been easy to find a home away from home where Jossi feels comfortable, but I am happy to say that we have found it! We will definitely be recommending Rachel to our friends, and hope to be using her again when we are out of town.
