2x The Sitters = 2x Care & Cuddles!

Pet care experience

*Update*: We've been full-time traveling in 2023 and will be in the Austin area in early 2024! We would love to take great care of your pets during this time, but please keep in mind that meet and greets will need to be through video chat until we meet the day of your trip, since we are currently in transit. Hi there! We are a fully vaccinated work-at-home dog sitting duo, which gives us the awesome ability to provide constant care and cuddles for your pet all day and night long! Her: Visual Artist, Elementary Age Educator, and recent Masters graduate. She worked for a dog walking company in Chicago for 5 years and has been loving the past 4 years of working with dogs and cats in Austin. Him: Web Developer and Guitarist who has been working with Animals for the past 4 years in Austin. He is loving working with all of the cute pups and cats of Austin and enjoys taking long walks on nearby trails with your pup if applicable. Us: We are able to provide full coverage for your animals during our stays due to our flexible "work at home" lifestyles. We are a 30-somethings couple who love to take care of animals who are sensitive, have big hearts, and need a lot of TLC. We are respectful, clean, kind, and communicative. We believe that developing a long-term relationship between a pet and sitter is key to a happy animal's home and health and will prioritize a relationship with you! We work with a variety of ages, dietary needs, and personality types. We never board or sit for multiple dogs at once to ensure the best quality experience possible. Let's meet and greet and plan a wonderful experience that your furry friend deserves while you are away! Why I love dog sitting I've always loved dogs! As a child, my family fostered cats and dogs, a fun way to experience and care for a variety of pets. I volunteered as a walker at the Chicago Canine Rescue during college. I loved it so much that I decided to become a full-time dog walker, and it's been the best job of my life! I enjoy sitting because it gives me a chance to learn and work with the wonderful personality of the pet, rather than a quick visit. My experience administering medication I am comfortable with administering topical and oral medication, and will usually ask an owner many questions and possibly for a demonstration in order to make sure I have the exact method down.

Ozzy always enjoys his stays with Rachel and Raul. He even gets excited when he realizes where we are going. ♥️

Rachel is so great with our two dogs. We are very anxious pup parents and find that when they are with her and Raul we aren’t stressing.

Rachel goes above and beyond for your fluffy babies. She somehow convinced our boys to put on their harnesses and took them out for a walk. 10/10

We have a fully fenced backyard in a safe residential neighborhood so we can provide your pup with plenty of outside time. We live in a 3 bedroom ranch home so there will be no stairs for pups with hip issues. Your pet is welcome to join us on our bed and couches!

Information Rachel D. would like to know about your pet

I am open to all types and personalities of pets! I've worked with many rescues in the past and understand that animals are as diverse and interesting as humans.

A typical day

Time I'll spend with your dog We wake up at 7am for breakfast, light cleaning, and a short walk outside. We then get to work, and we work from home. Since we have flexible jobs, we are able to take breaks at specific times if need be. We then make a lovely dinner, relax for the evening, and head to bed around 10/11pm. We live near a lovely park for longer walks with your pup if they are up for it! Extra house-sitting services Absolutely! I believe that respecting and taking care of the space is one of the main aspects of an exceptional dogsitting experience. I am happy to help with any tasks around the house, and will leave your space in the exact same condition (if not a little better) it was in the first place. We are used to checking mail and watering houseplants during sitting stays.
