I have always had a deep, undeniable passion for dogs. I find no greater joy than working professionally with dogs, and even spending my free time hanging out with more furry friends! I spent three years working at an animal shelter, caring for lost dogs and helping them find their forever homes. I now work at a boarding facility, and it is my utmost priority to make sure dogs have a good time away from their people. While I work at a boarding facility, I see the ever present need for more loving care for the community's furry family members while you are away, and I want to open up my home to provide boarding as well. I offer many other services such as dog walking and drop-in visits! Please take a look at the other services I offer to see if I can help you out! I offer direct with established clients.

Rachel did such a wonderful job with our girl Birdy!! It was our first time leaving her with someone, and Rachel sent plenty of pictures and updates to keep us reassured. Birdy had a great time playing with the other dogs and we picked her up happy and healthy!

I have a fenced yard with 3 very friendly little dogs. I have fostered many dogs, and pet sat for years, and all my dogs are always respectful. I have 3 cats as well who are used to being around dogs. I can crate your dog if needed, but definitely not required! Your dog(s) will be invited to sleep in bed with me and hang out on the couch with me and my whole pack! For owners looking for a dog walker, I'm your girl! I LOVE spending time outdoors, and I can handle strong dogs. I have tons of experience walking and handling all different breeds.

Any behavioral problems is essential for me to know. Do they get along with other dogs? Cats? Are they good with strangers or are they fearful? I'm experienced in working with dogs with behavioral issues, and am happy to accommodate to meet their needs. How is their health? Do they take any medication or have any food allergies? Are they house trained?
A typical day
For dogs who come and stay with me, it's all about catering to their greatest wishes and desires! I aim to provide a fun-loving home while their people are away. I have a small playful dog who is happy to play with all sizes all throughout the day. We will play lots of games, whatever speaks to your dog's heart. Walks are offered twice a day. We can take walks in my quiet neighborhood, or we can go and explore the world. I take lots of photos of visitors all day long, and can keep you updated throughout their stay.

Availability
I work part time four days a week, but am only gone 4 hours max at a time, then I'm back home with my dogs and any visitors we may have! For boarding, drop off and pick up times Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday are between 12:30 and 1:30 Drop off and pick up times are flexible Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. Any dogs boarding with me get lots and lots of time outside in my fenced yard. It is small, so I do provide walks up to two times per day, plus other fun, stimulating exercises to keep everyone satisfied! For dog walking, I am available Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday between 12:30 and 2:00, but please message me if you need a different time as I can be a little flexible. Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday I am available for any time that your pup needs to be walked! My availability for drop in visits is the same as for dog walking, but please ask if you need a different time, and I will be happy to try to accommodate your pet's needs
