Animals truly bring me joy! By nature, I have a strong sense of empathy and a quiet, calm, patient demeanor. This makes me particularly drawn to caring for pets who are aging, anxious, or just need that extra bit of understanding. I’m also extremely detail-oriented and observant. I’m new to Rover, but not new to furry pets. I had a beagle growing up, then as an adult owned a rescue cat for 10 years and cared for her through the cancer that ended her life. During the pandemic I spent many months living with my mom’s anxious rescue dog Amie, and it’s been a privilege to earn her trust. Fun fact: I’m also a beginning farmer! Since 2021 I’ve had the pleasure of working with animals like pigs, chickens, ducks, goats, and even a dairy cow 🐮
