Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Rachel, and I'd love to meet your pets! I grew up with dogs and cared for them from puppyhood through to being seniors, so I'm totally comfortable with dogs of any size and most temperaments! I'd love to do drop-in petsitting or take your pup for a nice walk that's catered to their energy and fitness level. I now have cats, so I'm comfortable with all aspects of their care including pilling and administering liquid meds. It would be a blast to stop in and make sure your cats have a clean litter box, fresh food and water, and enjoy a play session. I also have experience feeding and grooming horses and caring for small animals like ferrets, hedgehogs, and birds. I'm comfortable sitting for these pets as long as instructions are provided.

Hello, I know Rachel from the time we spent working together as volunteers at a Horse Tale Rescue in Quebec. This involved feeding, grooming and interacting with a herd of 10 - 12 rescue horses ranging in size from a small pony to large draft horses. She provided excellent care and I would certainly trust her with my own pair of rough collies.
I’ve known Rachel for years now and there’s no one I would trust around my animals more. She is always looking out for their best interests and is extraordinarily kind. You couldn’t pick a better person to take care of your pets!

I would like to know what kind of leash and collar or harness is preferred and would like to know if the dog has any dietary limits in case I bring treats.
A typical day
I live close to Couchiching park and Scout Valley and would enjoy walking there with your pup. I also have access to a fenced in area in Severn where your dog can play off leash if you're comfortable with that!
