Loving and reliable caretaker
Pet care experience
I'm a lifelong animal lover who, as an adult, has been committed to fostering and rescuing senior dogs (though I love dogs of all ages!). Spending time with animals is one of my greatest joys, and I'd be honored to walk your dog and care for them in your home or mine! I love all breeds and don't mind being licked or jumped on - I welcome it! I’m currently a grad student with a flexible schedule. I pride myself on excellent communication skills and reliability, and I am committed to providing your pup (or cat!) with the attention and care they deserve.
Reviews
Excellent dog sitter, would definitely book again!
Rachel was a dear! She made us feel very comfortable leaving Gizmo with her. She sent us pics every day with updates. She was warm and comforting about leaving Gizmo for the first time since we got him. I will definitely call her again for future trips. I highly recommend her for your pet needs.
If there was ever anyone that I would trust to care for my pet, its Rachel. Rachel is extremely responsible, thoughtful, caring, attentive, and whip smart. As a baseline, Rachel will go above and beyond the norm to make you and your pet feel comfortable. Rachel knows what to do in any situation and is a person I frequently go to for pet care and advice. I wholeheartedly recommend Rachel for any pet caregiving job.
Consistently excellent service! Rachel has always taken great care of my dog. She’s thorough, patient, and takes the time to provide thoughtful updates. I always have complete peace of mind when my dog is in her care.

A typical day
Depending on your dog's unique needs and energy level, I'll tailor my walk to best suit them - whether that's a leisurely stroll or a fast-paced jaunt. For boarding clients, a typical day begins with a long walk around the neighborhood followed by breakfast. In the afternoon, we'll head to a local park for playtime and then head home for cuddles on the couch and a leisurely nap. Finally, we'll conclude the day with an evening walk, dinner, and then one more potty break before bed. Your pup is then free to settle for the evening wherever they're comfortable in my home.

Availability
For boarding clients, your dog will never be left alone - I can give your fur baby constant supervision and lots of love and attention! I can accommodate your dog's schedule and needs, with frequent bathroom breaks as needed. I live near several parks and a walking trail and can give your dog ample exercise. I accept small dogs (up to 25 pounds) comfortable cohabitating with other dogs. I have one dog, Finn, an 11-pound Chihuahua mix who's great with other dogs and is happy to share his space with another well-behaved furry friend!
