Lets be Fur Besties!

Pet care experience

Hey Yall! My name is Rachel and I am SO happy to be able to provide Premium, Top Notch Service to you and your furry family! I have worked with animals for over 13 years now, so I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience with me to the Siloam and Gentry area! I began volunteering at the Siloam Animal shelter over 13 years ago walking dogs to keep my pregnancy weight down! I have worked in Animal Rescue all over NWA ever since and I currently volunteer one day a week at a low cost Spay and Neuter clinic in Springdale! I have over 10 years of experience training not only my dogs but a variety of dogs at the shelter to improve their adoptability. I have extensive knowledge with a wide range of behaviors such as reactivity or aggression, anxiety, and high energy! I am so excited for the opportunity to provide great care to your pet and your home while you are away!

Rachel was amazing and took care of our families cats while I left the state to my graduation, she met with us prior to dates set and understood our cats needs. She was great and I would highly recommend!

Rachel was great! We asked her to visit our 2 cats every other day and she did just that. Very reliable and met our expectations. Would recommend to anyone.

Rachel took great care of Hank and Boo by letting them out while we took a day trip through the holidays. She even cleaned one of their crates when he had an accident. Rachel went above and beyond and we will be using her again :)

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is always my number one priority. At our consultation visit we will discuss any concerns you may have as well as reviewing any oddities your pet may have (such as eating string or other things on toys that could be harmful; can they have certain types of chew toys, treats, food allergies, etc.). We will also discuss house rules and house care needs: Where do mail and packages go, does your garden need to be watered, does your pool need chemicals, when does your trash go out, etc. Your home will always be treated with respect as I follow a golden rule, always leave things better than you found them! I only accept boarding requests from well behaved small to medium size dogs. They must be crate trained! Enrichment is a big part of our household! We have lots of puzzle feeders, snuffle mats, and kongs! We have every type of bone imaginable! And we love going on walks or adventures to City Lake or to the park! We also like lounging around the house snuggling if that's more your speed!

Information Rachel D. would like to know about your pet

It is important to know any medical conditions or risks your dog may have. This includes things like not allowed to have certain treats, or toys! I always bring treats to visits, so you will need to let me know if that is not ok!

A typical day

I try to stick to a dogs normal routine as best as possible to minimize the stress of missing their family! I will also add in enrichment activities or extra physical activity if your pet is more stressed than "normal".
