Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of pets since our first dog when I was 12. Over the last 5 years, I have fostered dogs through a local rescue. I now care for my own cats and watch my friend’s pets while they go out of town. I have dealt with puppies, recent moms, high medical care needs, etc

Rachel is the BEST. My family went away for a week and the cats were loved and very well cared for while we were gone. We have two highly emotional cats who have become stressed with other cat sitters. Rachel was very understanding about our cat’s peculiarities, especially my elderly cat. The cats were healthy and happy when we returned. Rachel sent us lots of photos and updates, which made our vacation much more relaxing. She even dealt with an ant infestation of the cat’s food. I highly recommend Rachel. Anyone would be lucky to have her take care of their pets.

I love routine and so do your pets! I make sure I find out what your pet’s daily routine is and match it to make sure they do not get off schedule. With permission and when appropriate, I also love to take dogs walking and hiking. I love to play fetch, tug of war, and all the other games your pup loves! I love to play with cats as well, seeing as I have my own. Stick toys and laser pointers are a few I have found cats go wild for!

I love to take dogs on long walks, work on training, go to the park and play fetch, and play with their toys such as ropes and kongs.

Availability
As a grad student, I currently work part time as I gain hours to become a psychotherapist. This gives me a lot of time at home, where I work most of the time. I am able to care for animals as frequently as needed.
