Rachel house sit for our two pups while we were away for Thanksgiving and she was awesome! One of my pups got sick the night before we left and Rachel was amazing in keeping in communication and keeping a good eye on him throughout the holiday weekend. She was great with sending picture updates and texting me if anything unusual came up. She was also extremely adaptable and had no problem with altering her schedule when the leasing agent decided to turn the holiday weekend into a marathon for showing the apartment. #reallydude?! So all in all, we probably threw every variable at Rachel and she handled it like a champ. We certainly plan to hire her again in the future.

Everything about this weekend was weird. We were out of town for a wedding and left two dogs at home. Here are my complaints: 1 )She arrived two hours later than she said she would. I know this because I get an email when my keys are picked up from the pickup location. I never received the email. 2) She was still at our apartment when we came back. Why? 3) She was bleeding in the kitchen, and was JUST NOW feeding our dogs at 4:30pm. 4) The apartment was hot as HELL. We have two AC units and one of my dogs is a Newfoundland. My dog could have died from overheating. If the AC units had even been on 5 minutes it would not have been that hot in the apartment. It was obvious she had just recently arrived.
