Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs and have been walking dogs for over 10 years and pet-sitting for friends and family for over 6 years. I have experience mainly with mid-sized to large dogs but enjoy working with all sizes and breeds. Open to all ages, but there will always be a special place in my heart for senior dogs. I love getting outdoors and walking or playing with dogs. Whether your dog likes to walk to the park, chase a tennis ball, or just get lots of pets, I will love on them and treat them like they were my own.

Rachel was great with our seven month old dachshund puppy who needed a lot of extra love, attention, and snuggling in bed at night. Ralphie was afraid of walks and cars, but since we returned from our 10 day trip she’s doing well at walking around the block at least. Rachel took her out every day and helped teach her that. Our puppy also gets into mischief at times, but Rachel did a good job redirecting her attention to more positive playtime. We loved getting daily updates from Rachel so we knew our puppy was in good hands! We would certainly recommend her to watch your puppy or your dog!
We just love Rachel! Our senior pup doesn’t like very many people, but she sure adores Rachel.

A typical day
For medium- high energy dogs I usually do a morning and an afternoon walk or hike with additional playtime if they want it. I usually send daily updates with a photo in the afternoon.

Availability
I work and study remotely so I have a very flexible schedule with availability on weekends and weekdays. I am not currently available to board dogs, but I can do drop-ins, walks, and house sitting.
