Pet care experience
I have always had a fondness for animals and get incredible joy from them. "Look at that dog!" and "Can I pet your dog?" are common phrases of min. I had a dog of my own from a rescue for 3 yrs and a family dog growing up (he unfortunately passed away from CHF). I treated them to feel loved every single day with walks, treats, and lots of chit chat! I love all breeds of dogs and treat them as my own! I frequently dogsit for friends and family while they are on vacation and have plenty of references singing my praises!

Rachel is a great house and dog sitter! My place was well taken care of, and even more importantly, I came home to a happy doggo. I could tell that my good boy had the attention and care that he needed while I was gone and it’s so nice to have that peace of mind while out of town. I take extra care while in your home; cleaning and refilling water, making the space tidy and ensuring your dog is safe and comfy. I live in an apartment complex and would be able to keep your dog crated or in the kitchen or bathroom area depending on potty training status.

A typical day
I'll get the full loves and likes list to please your pet! Car rides? Walks in the park? Cuddles? Hanging on a patio? I will always try to fill your dog's day with something they like and maybe try something new (with permission from you of course!). I am very active so love going on runs, hikes or walks but I can also be a couch potato or just hang out in the yard for some bird watching.

Availability
I currently work part-time as a PRN PTA and have flexibility both last minute and can schedule in advance. I can dedicate full days during the week as needed, walks during the day or just check in visits depending on your pets needs.
