Animal-lover, pup-fosterer

Pet care experience

I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule. Your pup is welcome at my place or I can come to you. My 6 yo resident pupper, Fenwick, gets along with all dogs and we love long walks, runs, and going to the dog park. I've fostered over 100 dogs, have training certification, and have a 100% adoption rate :) My experience includes: - volunteering (dog and cat adoptions) in Chicago - fostering dogs of all ages and needs for the past 10+ years - training dogs of all ages and needs for the past 7+ years - basic through advanced obedience training (including special needs animals) - administering medication - dog walking - pup boarding Fen and I would love to care for your fur babe!

Rachel was amazing!! She was so responsive to get everything set up, and she gave us lots of pictures and updates. Our pup had the best time on hikes and playing with Rachel’s sweet dog.

Rachel cared for our little guy with the same quality and tenderness he would receive at home. She was truly thoughtful about matching his energy needs. Of course, Fen is equally amazing and eagerly played with our pup, even putting up with all his puppy energy. We are so grateful to have found them!

We love Rachel! She is so great with Makai and always tires him out before we pick him up

Information Rachel D. would like to know about your pet

- does your pup have any allergies- dermal, respiratory, or gastro? - are there any specific times that you like your pup to eat, walk, exercise, etc? - are you currently working on any training or have anything you want to make sure is reinforced while your doggo is with us?

A typical day

We love running, hiking, dog park visits, training (agility & obedience, if either are your jam), pup art projects with peanut butter and other (very safe) mediums, and have every size and variety of gear- toys, bones, treats, puzzles, etc.
