Hi! I'm Rachel. I'm 31 yrs old and have never not had pets in my life. Since moving out at 18, I've had dogs, parakeets, cockatiels, axolotls, a cat, and a bunny. I have also been a dog foster for the last 2.5 years and have helped 13 dogs (and one bunny) find their forever homes. My fur babies are my babies. I love learning about their unique personalities and quirks and creating a loving and supportive environment to help them feel safe and blossom into amazing pets. I promise I will do the same for your fur babies as well whether I get to spend 30 minutes with them or 30 days.

Rachel was great! Our dog had such a good time staying there. Rachel kept us updated on how he was settling in over the weekend, and was really helpful by watching him an extra day when our flights home got delayed overnight. Would definitely reccomend!
Rachel was great with our dogs. She was prompt in stopping by for her drop ins and went above and beyond by bringing in some packages that arrived while we were out.

We have a large fenced yard with a doggie door so that they can come and go as much as they'd like. We go on two long walks a day no matter what the weather is like. If we need to leave them at home for some reason, we have large crates to help keep them safe and secure. They have full run of the house (and yard) during the day as well as an overflowing basket of toys to explore whether they like to chase balls, play tug of war, chew toys, or kill squeakers. We have something for every personality. 🥰

A typical day
We have a large fenced backyard for our animals to run around and explore. We go on two walks per day no matter the weather and have doggie rain gear in all sizes if needed. We are centrally located in Salem and surrounded by 5-6 parks within walking distance and even a small fenced dog park. Depending on the weather, dogs' behaviors, and physical abilities, we also walk down to the Saturday market and/or the Riverfront Park. After dinner, we like to cuddle up on the couch for some tummy rubs and snuggles.

Availability
My boyfriend and I both currently work from home so we are here with my animals 24/7. There is almost always one of us home. I'm also very lucky to have a position where I am able to flex my work schedule however I'd like. Meaning that I can be there for your babies whenever is needed.
