Pet care experience
I have been around animals my entire life due to being related to farmers. My experience with animals have been purely positive because I have been taught how to keep boundaries, feed the animals, and keep the animals calm. Whether you need a cat or dog or even gecko sitter, I am sure that my past help with farm animals and my own pets at home will be beneficial.

Rachel watched our cat Lou for two days and was wonderful! She provided us with photos, regular updates, and took great care of our cat. She also left our home super tidy which was very appreciated. I'll definitely be using her again, thank you Rachel!

Rachel is a great dog and house sitter! We were able to meet before I left town, and she took very good care of my two big dogs. I felt comfortable with her staying in my house, and she left everything neat and tidy. She communicated a few times every day, with pictures of the dogs. They seemed happy and calm when I got home. (5 day trip)
Rachel was great. She was very responsive, followed our doggie care notes and kept us updated on how the dogs were doing. Would definitely use her again.

I would care for pets by making sure I match their energy with me. If they are more anxious, I won't push them to accept me rather let them gradual accept me as a friend. If they are immediately bonding and energetic I will give them all the energy I have right back. There are inappropriate ways to treat pets that I would never use. I would make sure to be secure with treats and calming techniques that do not cross the forceful line. I understand pets just need proper, loving training and that anything else would lead to poor skills. Most importantly I will treat every pet with the love and care as if it were my own.

Let me know if your dog/cat has any impairments or special needs so that I can best be acquainted with them. I would also love to be aware of the flexibility I have with the animal i.e. what toys to play with, what to play, if they like the park, etc.
A typical day
I would take the dogs around the neighborhood and be sure to have water handy for them. If your comfortable I could take your dog to the park and play under the shade.

I am available most days of the week and it can become a part of my daily schedule to take care of an animal. I understand that helping care for a animal is important and with my open schedule there is time for me to truly help out.
