Pet care experience
Having grown up with four dogs, four cats, and four rabbits - I have always had a soft spot for furry friends. I've been taking care of pets since I was 13 years old and have been lucky enough to be a dog mom to two pups in my adult years. I have cared for all types of dogs from Frenchies to Rottweilers. I have sitted for puppies, provided long-term care to a sick senior dog, and have worked with all types of canine personalities. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pet!

I can’t say enough great things about Rachel!!! She is a great dog sitter! Whether we needed her to drop by, watch our dogs over an extended period of time, or just take them out for a walk, she always did an EXCELLENT job. She treated our dogs as if they were her own! Rachel took great care of my two dogs while I was on vacation. She watched my two large dogs overnight at my house. She followed our care instructions and was extremely respectful to our home. She often checked in with us to provide updates. She took the time to play with our dogs and went above and beyond to keep our pets on their regular day to day schedule. We have recommended her to countless other local pet owners and will definitely be using her for all upcoming trips
Rachel has been helping to watch my cat whenever go I go out of town ( which is quite often). I don’t really trust my cat to be watched by many people, but Rachel has seems to have a way with her. She’s always on time, reliable, and communicative when I need it. She’s always the first person I ask whenever I need coverage because I know she’s the best :)
Rachel is sweet to pets and humans! I highly recommend her. She cares for our dog while we vacation and I could tell after the first time that she had nurtured a bond with him. A typical day
I am happy to match your dog's energy. If your pet wants to run and play, we can do that. If it likes to hang out on the couch and lounge, we can do that too. Personally, my dog is high energy so I am very used to playing with toys, chasing the ball, going for long walks, and running around the house.

Availability
On the weekdays I work from home, so I am always around the neighborhood. Without a work commute, it will be easy for me to get to your home or stop by and hang out with your dog before and after work and into the evening. I also can be available to come over during the day and let your pup out (if you don't mind me setting up my laptop to do some work while I'm visiting). On the weekends I have great availability as well. Let's talk about it and figure out the best schedule for staying with your pet. PLEASE NOTE: for house visits I cannot do more than 2 night stays.
