Rachel is my younger sister. She is a happy and responsible dog lover. We have grown up in an environment constantly around dogs, and I have never seen a dog not like Rachel. When I got my lab rescue, Bruce, Rachel wanted to help me get him comfortable to his new home. Bruce was abused by his previous owner, and was very scared of being touched or talked to. He didn’t know how to take walks, as his old owner kept him in a crate. Rachel was so patient with Bruce, and took little steps to make Bruce comfortable. First she would start by sitting close to Bruce, then allowing Bruce to sniff her out and come to her. After a while, Bruce allowed Rachel to touch him. She put a leash on his collar and would walk him around my back yard. Then she would bring him down the driveway, and finally he was walking around the block! Within the next year of Bruce being in the family, Rachel and him were taking runs along the beach. I think she and Bruce had a connection like no other. When Rachel decided to get her own dog, she wanted to raise a puppy. She saw Natty and she knew right away he was her pup. She potty trained him, taught him tricks, and treats him like a son! Bruce and Natty love running around the backyard, playing tug of war, and sniffing butts. I would trust Rachel with any dog, no doubt.
