I have 10+ years of experience in dog and house sitting. I grew up with family dogs and cats and I finally got my own after graduating college. Her name is Ruby and she is 9. I recently moved to the Charlottesville area to live with my boyfriend in a quaint tiny cabin. He has two cats and aquatinting my dog Ruby with his two felines these past 2 months has been rewarding and enlightening. I adore animals and I sincerely enjoy showing them unconditional love, patience, and understanding. I draw a lot of satisfaction from walking dogs and spending time outside. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to care for your pet while you are away. I have traveled the world extensively and I understand the value of knowing your animals are well taken care; so that you may peacefully enjoy your experiences away from home.

I have known Rachel for 15 years. Initially, she worked for us as A babysitter. After my children got old enough not to need those services, she still helped us frequently with the dog walking and dog sitting when we were out of town. I can truly say that I think Rachel is our dog’s second favorite person. He is always very excited when she comes to visit, and also when she comes to stay with him.In fact, sometimes, he is sad when we come home, because we are very busy, and don’t spend as much time with him as Rachel does. She takes him on several walks a day, talks to him constantly, and is happy to brush him when needed. I highly recommend her services and know that whoever uses those services will be very pleased.
Rachel did a great job of taking care of my Beagle Gus. He is a good judge of character and he took to Rachel right away. Rachel earned my trust to the point that I give her a key to my house to walk and care for Gus when I'm away on business. I have been a client of Rachels for over 3 years now and would vouch for her to anyone.
Rachel is an animal lover and is a huge dog lover. The care of her own pup is always her top priority! Rachel is always down for a hike with the pups or a trip to the park to make sure they have a great day full of treats and exercise! Always dependable!
Rachel is the best there is! First, she could not be more personable- thank goodness because my animals recognize good energy. She is very accommodating and even spent a little extra time befriending my cat! It made me feel very comfortable and my cat was instantly impressed :) Not to mention, she is an enthusiastic dog walker! She really works with your pet, for instance my dog is particularly nervous when walking across bridges. Rachel was great about figuring out a route that calmed my dogs nerves and never cuts the walk short! My dog loves her and is excited to see her always! <3 Could not recommend more highly!
