Dedicated Veterinary Technician
Pet care experience
I have been a pet owner and animal lover my entire life. I started my career in animal medicine in 2013 in wildlife rehabilitation. I made the switch to veterinary medicine in 2015, and obtained my license with the health department in 2019. I have worked in general practice and specialty hospitals, as well as non profit wildlife sanctuaries.
Reviews
Continues to be amazing! Went out of her way to be helpful and supportive.
Second time we’ve had Rachel watch our dog and she’s continues to be amazing! 10/10 would recommend
Our dog is very nervous when we are away but we came home & she was just fine! Rachel kept us updated, sent pictures, & was great to work with! Hoping to have her watch Roo again in the future!
Rachel is on of the best most caring pet owners I have ever met in my life. Her love for her animals and others is unmatched!

Safety, trust & environment
Being a veterinary technician, you can expect compassionate care in a clean environment. I can provide basic needs like walks, treats, playtime, and basic grooming. I also provide medical services, that are ordered by your vet, to be done at home (i.e. medications, assisted walks, physical therapy, bladder expressions, injections/fluids, ect). In my line of work, I see a lot of families limited by the needs of their pets, and I'd like to change that! I'd like to help you get that vacation in with peace of mind your furry friend is in loving, capable hands.
Information Rachel C. would like to know about your pet
Things I need to know about your dog before setting a meet and greet: -What energy level are they? -Do they take meds or have special needs? -Are there any dietary restrictions? -Are there any medical conditions that are stable or chronic? -What are triggers and undesired behaviors, if any? (No judgement).
A typical day
We can personalize activity expectations to best meet your pet's needs. I love to be outdoors and would love to spend time doing what your pet loves to do most.

I am currently starting a dog grooming business, leaving me with extra time. I am hoping to fill my time hanging out with some cool dogs and cats!
