“Rustic Retreat for Dogs” 😊 We still have a lot of love and still have a large yard but we’ve moved. Now located near Webster’s Corner in Maple Ridge. Big dogs & puppies alike love the room to zoom on our large property. More updates coming soon… Our home provides lots of opportunities for exploring and developing new social skills. We like to add new chew toys, balls, squeaky toys for dogs to interact and engage with. I usually get a chance to give the dogs a good brushing and they also enjoy some homemade treats (with owner's permission of course!)

She is so wonderful with finnley. I've used Rachel so many times now. She is also very accommodating with my work schedule at the hospital. Her property is also perfect for dogs! Love it.
Our pups loved their visit with Rachel. She is excellent at sending updates and pics throughout the stay. She has a nice big backyard that allows for playtime in addition to walks. Highly recommend.

I have a large back yard and a fenced in area for 3 dogs (bylaw limit). (Please note: the 1/2 acre yard has a break in the fence but berry bushes cover the entrance. If your dog tends to run away or escape enclosures we would keep on a long leash or play solely in the fenced-in dog run.) My friendly 3-year-old German Shepherd enjoys when playmates come to visit! I connect with the dog when they first arrive and get a sense of they want to spend time with me, or Chloe or be alone. I make sure they have water, toys, cuddles and exercise throughout the day. We follow all your instructions for your pets care and will send photos and videos throughout the day!

Let me know any special needs your dog has and I will do my best to accommodate. We don’t specialize in caring for special needs dogs but the environment we provide tends to attract families with dogs needing special care. It’s good for me to know it’s history and any issues you’ve had in the past. We don’t mind hosting anxious pups with special needs and just ask for detailed instructions and open communication about your dogs needs.
A typical day
We have a 3 areas outside and three areas inside for pets to explore. I’ll provide engaging games and activities for your pup and sometimes car rides or neighborhood walks.

Availability
I work from home part time so there's lots of time to play with and care for our canine guests 24/7. After making sure everyone has a bathroom break and breakfast I either walk them or take them out back to run and play catch. After an hour or so I’ll set them up in their spaces either together or separate depending on their needs. After lunch I usually do the opposite of whatever they did in the morning. So we get a walk or play time in. Depending on the weather and energy levels we have a quick or very lengthy exercise excursion. After some rest and dinner the dogs play together in the back yard, catching balls, chasing each other and doing tricks. Often times I brush my dog’s hair before bed and can do others too if you like.
