Loving & Nurturing Dog Mom and Dad

Pet care experience

Animals have always been a part of mine and my boyfriend’s lives. Princess, Abbey, Twinkle, Cindy, Daisy, and Duke were just some of the beloved childhood pets we had growing up (dogs/cats). Whenever a pet passed away, it was like losing a family member because we treat them like one of us. Our names are Rachel (27 yrs) and Brian (32 yrs) together we live in a 3 bedroom townhouse in Bryn Mawr, PA. Our children are a 10 year old Husky Mix, Luna (rescue from Peru 🇵🇪 ) and a 2 year old super mutt, Jackson (rescue from Providence Animal Center). At our house, dogs are allowed on the beds and couches because they are people too. We also have a fenced-in backyard which gives them plenty of room for zoomies! Brian and I both have experience in dog-sitting and raising dogs. Some of our favorite places we like to take our dogs to is Ockehocking Preserve, West Mill Creek, Haverford Reserve, and Ashbridge Park. We recently took the pups to the Bark in the Park Phillies Game and had a BLAST! We try very hard to optimize their diet and exercise for wellness and longevity. One way we do that, is giving them specially homemade food and bringing them to the park at least 2 times a day. Our dogs are very friendly and would love to have another fuzzy friend over to play with and so would we!

Rachel and Brian were amazing! We never leave our dog, and I am at heart a worrier, but we were immediately put at ease meeting them and their pups. They sent pictures and videos throughout our dog’s stay, and she was always happy, playing, or snuggling. We would (and will!) have our pup vacation at Rachel and Brian’s again in a heartbeat.

Rachel and Brian took great care of our French bull dog Pepper while we were away for 3 nights. They are good communicators ahead of booking with them and provided plenty of updates and pictures throughout. Our dog got along well with their two dogs and it felt like they treated her like their own. Their house was clean and well set up for the dogs, and they had a backyard for convenient potty breaks. I would definitely recommend a stay for your dog with them!

Safety, trust & environment

We treat dogs with the outermost respect and care. One way we do that is observing their body language- and figuring out what they need at all times of the day. If you would like to schedule a time to have our dogs meet prior to boarding we can absolutely pencil that in- we actually encourage it. Our dogs are not crate trained, however, we do have one cage if your dog is and needs it to sleep and feel safe. We live in a very safe neighborhood by many parks all within walking distance. Expect photos and videos of your pup throughout the day because that is what we would want from our dog sitter.

A typical day

A typical day for your pup is getting a morning and afternoon walk to the park and an evening stroll before bed. Your pup will have access to our backyard for zoomies and plenty of toys. They may also sleep on the couch or where ever they’d like! If allowed, we have enrichment bowls or treat toys for them to keep busy. Brian and I have no human children so we will make your dog our main priority always!
