I’ve helped care for my dog Petey with feeding, walking, playing with his favorite tennis ball, taking him for vet visits, giving him medications, and of course plenty of belly rubs. I absolutely love animals and will also be volunteering with the OK Humane Society to learn even more about animal care.

Rachel was incredible! I had the best experience with her and my three dogs. I would recommend her and will book her again. She was incredibly communicative regarding her work schedule, visits to the house and updates on the dogs. Rachel went above and beyond and I have never felt better about leaving my dogs for a trip. Rachel also house sat for me - she took great care of the house and kept it nice and tidy after staying here. So respectful! Thank you so much!
Rachel came to visit and connected well with my cats. They both can take some time to warm up, but she was gentle and patient, giving them the space they needed to get comfortable with her. By the end of the first day, one of them was cuddled up to her, getting lots of ear scratches. Rachel really loves animals and does well even with pets on the shy side. I would definitely recommend her as a pet sitter!
I cannot recommend Rachel enough as a sitter! She has worked with both cats and dogs, either in her own home or through pet sitting experience. She is incredibly trustworthy, reliable, and thorough. Such an important part of pet-care is learning their language and taking their cues. They can tell you so much about how they are feeling by the way they wag their tails or raise their ears. I take care of my own dog by feeding, bathing, walking, and of course playing with him. When he feels bored or lonely, he shows it with his body language and I try to be as attentive as possible to those signs. Other times, he wants to be alone, so I will give him a toy and let him come to me when he is ready to hang out!

A typical day
My dog Petey loves to play fetch outside with his favorite blue ball! On days where he needs some extra entertainment, I will blow bubbles for him in our backyard for him to pop. If the weather isn’t ideal for outdoor activities, his favorite game is hide and seek with his treasured toys.

Availability
I work part-time at a gym and restaurant, but my shifts are only 4-5 hours leaving me lots of free time in the mornings and afternoons for pet care! I am also willing to do very early mornings and late nights if needed!
