Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a 21 year old student studying at Webster Conservatory for Theatre Arts. I have been walking and pet sitting dogs in the area for the past two years. I have had dogs all my life and love them with my whole heart. I am very fun, energetic and absolutely love all dog breeds. I am extremely patient, reliable, and punctual. I allow for flexible hours. To spice up my application, I went to Veterinary Camp for 3 years. I learned how to listen to the dogs and understand what they need in that moment. I worked with dogs of all breeds and learned the care it takes to look after dogs with special needs. I can walk at any pace which is very exciting. I cannot wait to meet you and your pup! I am a student, I will be out of the house periodically throughout the day. However, I am always home by 5pm and am able to give them the care and attention they need

Rachel has dog-sat for me on many occasions when I was vacationing. She has always gave the utmost care and attention to my dogs. Rachel has a wonderful relationship with the both of them, and they are always excited to see her when she visits. My older yellow lab has some medications she takes with meals and she had no issues helping make sure that my dog received her doses every day. Rachel is a lovely and responsible friend whom I cherish and absolutely endorse for her reliability and kindness.
Rachel started walking my 2 little shitzu terriers back in 2017. They are my babies and I’ve never trusted them with anyone before. But as soon as Rachel showed up to my house she came locked and loaded with all natural vegan homemade dog treats and I immediately knew she was the one. Normally when my little Lucy and Pippy meet strangers they yelp and cry, but with Rachel… not a peep. She is a dog whisperer to say the least, and after she she moved away Lucy and Pippy have been a mess (they especially miss her homemade dog treats 😝💕). God bless whichever dogs may be lucky enough to be walked by Rachel in the future. Lucy and Pippy are jealous, that’s for sure!
Rachel is so responsible. She has walked my dog many a times while I was stuck at work on a call. Rachel has a wonderful way with many other animals such as cats, ducks, turtles, and more. She took care of my dog the same way she takes care of her own; with pure love.

In my clients home, I try to keep the pets environment as stable as possible. When we are off for a walk, if they are motivated by treats, that is when I can inspire them to meet me at the door to put their harness and leash on. If I am dog sitting, I have no pre-disposed rules on animals with furniture and would like to know if you have any house-hold rules! If your pet takes medication, I have a history with treating dogs with medication and just need to know your method to give them their medication.

A typical day
I would either take the dog around the neighborhood or to a near by park! I love fetch and other games. If they enjoy swimming, my pup has been swimming for a couple years so I can handle water games and making sure they are safe!
