I’ll play, walk, run or snuggle!
Pet care experience
I have grown up having pets my entire life and I have cared for animals for as long as I can remember! I am happy to play, walk, run, snuggle or keep your dog or cat company while you are away. I have a 4 year old Siberian cat, Luka, who is the most loving, mischievous, and adventurous cat I’ve known. I trained him to walk on a leash at a young age and he has even learned to “shake” for treats (he might be part dog?). I also very much miss my family big golden retriever puppy (she’s 11)! I would love to give some of that love and attention to your dog. I taught my 90 lb dog how to roll-over and I’m happy to try to teach your dog some new tricks! I love the outdoors and I would love to visit nearby nature paths and parks with your dog.
Reviews
Rachel was communicative, detail-oriented, and gave me a great amount of peace of mind. I knew my cat was in great hands with her and would be receive wonderful care while I was away.
Excellent walker! Jumped in for a very very last minute need without hesitation.
Great communicator and dog friend!
Rachel was great! Right on time and gave lena lots of love! Made sure she had fresh water and a snack!

Safety, trust & environment
I have raised multiple cats from when they were kittens and two dogs from when they were puppies. I am very knowledgeable about animals and value their role in the family. I am experienced with all aspects of pet care, from feeding, walking, training, bathing, grooming, and cleaning up after them.
Information Rachel B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if there are any unique needs or preferences your dog has, any behavioral issues, and how they interact with others (people and dogs) when going on walks. For cats, please let me know any petting preferences or off limit areas (for ex. my cat does not like his stomach pet)!
A typical day
I would love to take your dog on walks in the fresh air, short runs or hikes, play fetch at a park, or work on learning some new tricks! For cats, I’m happy to provide plenty of pets and cuddles or just hang out together!

Availability
I recently moved to DC for grad school at GWU and as it is a hybrid program, I can easily schedule in time to attend to your furry family members! I am available most days currently and am still exploring the DC area and your dog or cat would make a great adventure pal, or an excellent a study break buddy.
