Unfortunately we had a negative experience with Rachel. We booked her for 30 minute drop in visits to play with our cat and scoop his litter box and our doorman key log showed that she was only in the apartment for 7-8 minutes at a time. When we came home, our cat had peed in our shower and on our sofa, which led us to be concerned that the litter box had not been scooped effectively and perhaps not daily. On the final day of our booking she cancelled the last visit on short notice and we had to scramble to find a replacement rover. We were happy that our cat was seen and fed however we felt that there was a little thoughtlessness and lack of attention to detail.

This was my first experience with a cat sitter as this is my first pet. I have a younger cat and booked 30 minutes for Rachel to play with my cat and feed her. I have motion cameras in my apartment for my car’s safety and my apartments. Rachel came over an hour and a half past the booked time. I had to reach out to get updates since I was curious why I had seen no updates on my cameras. And she told me she was running late only after I reached out. When she finally arrived, she did feed my cat but just fed her and left. I am upset that she did not play like the cat nor did she even stay for the agreed time. I could only verify she was the for up to 5 minutes. I am also upset because I was still charged for the full time. She closed the card 30 minutes past the arrival time but she was definitely not in my apartment. I am personally just disappointed that this was my first experience with Rover. I cancelled the second visit that evening because I was not feeling comfortable with the care based on the first visit.
