Pet care experience
I've had over 25 years experience caring for various pets from birds, to fish, to cats, dogs, hedgehogs, lizards, chickens, and more! I've cared for dogs of all ages and sizes, from tiny chihuahuas to giant Great Danes. Currently in my home I have a senior French bulldog, a young choc. Lab, 2 cats, a hedgehog, and we are adding chickens to the mix in spring! I absolutely adore animals and I would be delighted to care for yours in my home.

Rachel is a wonderfully loving pet caregiver, both to her own pets and to others she cares for. Her own pets are well behaved and great family pets. She has cared for my large breed dog and Ive never had any concerns whatsoever. Always a happy experience for my pet to be welcomed into her home. I have a large 1 acre property with multiple fenced areas. My 2 dogs are friendly and will be happy to keep yours company during their stay. My pets live inside with us and have access to outside whenever wanted. Overnight we keep the dogs in a heated sunroom with closed doors. I am also able to and have the spage to crate dogs as needed.

A typical day
Our days can vary depending on everyone's needs, but my goal is to have happy and healthy pets! We love to take walks nearby whether on leash around the neighborhood or offleash at our favourite trail by the river. My dogs love to laze around the house, so there's also ample relaxation and snuggle times had as well.

Availability
I'm currently working very part-time, so I have ample time to spend with your pets during their stay. During the days I do work, the pets never go more than 2 hours between potty breaks or outside time, and most often I am home for the day by 2pm. I am available for daytime care or overnight boarding. I'm certain we can figure out something that works for both schedules.
