Pet care experience
I’ve been a pet owner my whole life, primarily a dog owner but I used to own a cat as well. I think of pets as members of the family and should be treated as such by giving them a lot of love and having a lot of patience. I do own my car and can drive, so if your dog likes going to the park I can accommodate for such. So far I’ve only done pet sitting and drop ins for my friends and family so Rover is a little new for me. I appreciate your patience ahead of time.

Rachel has taken care of my cats and my dogs. She super nice and a carrying individual. When I came back my animals were well taken care of and happy. It has been a pleasure working with her and I will continue to use her in the future.

Your fur baby’s health and wellness is my top priority and will always come first. How I interact with your pet will vary on a case-by-case basis, as some animals will have a different temperaments from one another, so that is important to take into account. I will be sure to offer your pet a safe and clean environment. I know from personal experience things can get a little messy when dealing with animals but it’s important to keep things clean not only for the sake of being sanitary but for their health. Bowls will be cleaned out after every meal to avoid bacterial build up. Litter boxes and pee pads will be dealt with promptly to maintain cleanliness. If your pet needs special accommodations please reach out and let me know so I can come prepared.

A typical day
Whatever your dog or cat says, goes. If they’re into chilling in the house all day while I pet them I’m all for it. If they like getting outside and going for hour walks let’s go do it! If your dog is small enough to fit into my car and is allowed to go to the park we’ll even do that! The only thing I wouldn’t be able to accommodate is them going swimming.

Availability
I am currently a part-time retail employee so my scheduling is a bit spotty. My manager usually makes the schedule a month in advance so if you need an extended stay (longer than 3 days/2 nights) try booking the month before and I can request off for that time. For drop ins the calendar displayed will show my availability, I allow same day bookings for drop ins.
