For West Seattle Woofers

Pet care experience

I love all animals, especially dogs! Your dog will be as comfortable as he or she is at home, with love and attention from me and my husband. We do work during the week, so we can only accept weekend/holiday visitors at this time. We also have a 27-lb mutt in the family, Daisy, aka Miss Daisycakes. A meet and greet at our house with Daisy is a requirement for any new customers. She is dog friendly and loves to run and play with visiting dogs in our large fenced yard. Your pup will get the benefit of my professional zoo experience. I can administer medicines or training programs as needed, and will carefully monitor your dog's well-being to make sure they are receiving tip-top care. We live in a home with a well-fenced yard, next door to a beautiful park and path down to Alki. There is lots of room to run and outdoors to explore!

Carmella had a fantastic time with Rachel. She went on lots of walks and I got numerous pictures of her outdoor adventures! I really appreciated that Rachel kept me up to date with pictures, because I could tell that Carmella was comfortable in her temporary home and that Rachel was enjoying her company. Rachel as responsible and it was nice not to worry about Carmella's safety. I would use Rachel again!

Rachel did a FANTACSTIC job with Fiona. She gave our girl a bunch of exercise and sent us tons of photos. She was extremely responsive, to us. We felt very comfortable leaving our furbaby with Rachel.

Rachel did a great job with our furchild, Rex! He came home clean, happy and cute as ever. She sent picture updates and it looked like Rex was having the time of his life! We think he even may have been a little sad to come home he loved staying with Rachel so much!

Rachel was great with our dog, Boomer. Right from the beginning when we contacted her to see if she would be available, Rachel was timely and detailed in her responses. It was our first time using a dog sitter so we were a bit nervous, but we're so pleased that Boomer had a great stay. We got lots of updates and photos, so it was great seeing what our little guy was up to while we were across the country. When we picked Boomer up, it was quite late at night since our flight was delayed. We are super appreciative of Rachel's flexibility and understanding. To be honest, I think we missed Boomer more than he missed us, he had a blast!

Information Rachel A. would like to know about your pet

Here are my first questions for every dog owner! 1) Have you used Rover before? 2) What times are you thinking for drop off and pick up at my home? Or, do you need me to come to you for pick up or drop off? 3) Is your dog 100% house trained, and what is their walk schedule? There is no wrong answer here, I just like to be prepared. :)

A typical day

After we set your booking up, I will send you my Practically Perfect Puppy Packing Plan! I also send photos throughout the stay. Says one satisfied customer, "I was posting so many of your photos of my dog on Facebook that my friends thought I was still home in Seattle!"
