I have a long history with working in pet care and dogs in particular! When I was in high school, I spent all my afternoons volunteering at the Animal Humane Society, and learned so much! My first job was at Petsmart, starting in small animal and fish, but then became a full time Pet Training Instructor. I had extensive training in dog behavior and taught classes to share my knowledge with pet parents! I became very interested in dog behaviors and mentality, and am very aware of emotional needs dogs may have, especially visiting a different home, or in experiencing an owner's prolonged absence. After Petsmart, I started working in an office setting remotely, but continue to train and compete with my own two dogs in fly-ball and agility. I started watching friend's dogs and other pets as a side hobby, but I have such a passion that I wanted to take on a more professional approach. I am very flexible in scheduling and have plenty of space in my home to provide a fun, stress-free environment. I also have a large fenced in yard and nearby park trails that I enjoy to walk. Safety is always my number one concern, for all animals and people involved. As a pet parent myself, I understand how owners feel about their dogs and respect any rules and guidelines whether it is medical needs or just interacting with their best friend!
