Hello, my name is Rachel A. I'm 26 and have lived in MD my whole life though I love to travel and know how hard it is to leave a pet behind. I adore dogs, cats, and all other animals and love to meet new ones whenever I can. I live with three dogs at home that I share with two roommates; a Westie, a husky mix, and an old beagle. I have worked with older dogs, dogs that need (oral) medication, deaf dogs, hyper dogs, and dogs that require more attention than others. I work a part time job where two or three days out of the week I work 9 to 5, and then have shorter shifts but I am normally off work two or three days out of the week. I'm a homebody that loves to cuddle up with pets while reading a good book or watching a great movie. I love going for walks/hikes or even drives if your pets love car rides. I've been dogsitting personally for about 5 years - I started helping out a family friend and she was gracious enough to recommend me to others!

Rachel is always so attentive to our dogs needs, and made sure to keep us informed. We have used her twice now, and love how we don’t have to worry about our pups when we go away. We come home and the house is just as we left it, and there is no horrible adjustment period because Bella and Milo were right at home, and comfortable while we were gone!
My dog, Lily, was a sweet little Beagle. Sweet but high maintenance. She hated to be alone and needed to be given meds to control seizures twice a day. There was no way we could leave her overnight. That is until we found Rachel. Rachel and Lily bonded right away. That was five years ago. We have gone on many trips since then including three weeks in Europe. Lily’s needs intensified but we knew Rachel could handle any emergency: Lily passed away three months ago at the age of 15 and Rachel grieved with us. I would recommend this bright, college educated, responsible young woman to anyone who is looking for an alternative to boarding. We were so lucky to have found her.
Rachel is an awesome pet sitter! We have used her for over a year and thoroughly trust her. She is very polite, responsible, and dedicated to giving my pets the love that I want them to have when I'm not at home. She answers texts and phone calls promptly. She follows any directions I give her regarding my dogs. I highly recommend Rachel for pet sitting your dogs!
My Husband and I went away for a conference last winter. We needed a dog sitter for our 14 month old Cavachon. Rachel made sure she knew my puppy's routine and diet. She took my puppy for many walks, cared of our home and even sent me sweet photo updates. I was not worried about our puppy and could focus on our business trip. Since then, we have used her for vacations and over nights. Rachel was reasonably priced and a delighted to work with. Our puppy loves her and gets excited every time she sees Rachel!!!
