Pet care experience
I am a lifelong animal lover and have taken care of dogs, cats, and horses. I have two cats and a senior dog of my own. I pride myself on caring for other people's animals how I would want my own fur kiddos cared for and have been pet-sitting and helping with pets for neighbors and family friends since I was 10 years old. I am experience in caring for senior animals, as well as adjusting exercise regimens for injuries/old age and administering medications to animals for management of conditions such as arthritis.

Rachel did an excellent job taking care of Tofu. She sent me pics while I was on my trip, and Tofu learned to trust her and come out for some petting.
Rachel was great while I was out of town for the holidays. She took great care of my cats and of my home while I was gone, sending pictures and updates via text. The neighbor kitty even enjoyed her! Will book with her again :) Thank you Rachel!!

I make sure to prioritize the safety of both the pet and the owner/home when caring for pets. When caring for pets, I also make it a priority to keep an eye out for any things that are suspicious or out of place at the home to make sure that no one is taking advantage of my clients not being home. I love to play fetch with animals, as well as walk them and just provide general love and attention as I do with my own pets at home. I strive to make the experience as least stressful for both the pet and their owner as possible.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or other accommodations that I should be aware of ahead of time. I accept dogs of all sizes, breeds, and sex, but I do not accept aggressive dogs.
A typical day
I love taking dogs places that will excite them. For example, my own pup is happy to go on a walk anywhere near water that he can swim in. I like taking dogs to the riverwalk and other places where they will feel safe but still have lots of fun and get plenty of stimulation and exercise.

I work Monday-Friday 8-5 but I do have a very flexible schedule that allows me to leave as needed for potty breaks and check ins.
