I am a licensed veterinary technician in the state of NY. My experience and education allow me to provide compassionate care for your furry family member! I work full time as a veterinary technician. If you are looking for experienced and passionate pet care in the south towns, send me a message! I own a home and would love to host your fur baby while you are out of town. You can rest easy knowing that I have the qualifications to step in during any kind of emergency. UPDATE: I am getting back into sitting after maternity leave for my beautiful son! I am limiting bookings at this time to pets that will easily fit into our current lifestyle. If your pet isn’t the right fit for my home at this time rest assured as I’d be happy to help you find the perfect fit!

Wonderful experience! Racheal did amazing with our pup. We were really nervous after a bad previous experience on Rover but are so so happy we found Racheal! She took great care of our fur baby when we were away. She was also so flexible with her time after we got stranded out of town in the great Christmas blizzard of ‘22. She even helped provide food when our dog ran out of what we supplied. Incredibly grateful for the experience and understanding. Both Rachael and her other half were amazing. I would HIGHLY suggest sending them your furbaby. They’ll treat them like their own ❤️

The dogs were very very comfortable with Rachael. Her room, dog door and yard where she kept the dogs were amazing. She also sent us a picture of the dogs relaxing with her that made us feel like they were being well taken care of, as they would be at home. We have highly recommended her when we talk about her to others and would definitely use her again when needed.

I treat every pet as if they are my own! I love to include them in all the normal daily activities. I have a fenced in yard which my pup goes in and out of frequently thorough the day. Otherwise he is lounging on the couch or under my feet. There is always space for another small, well mannered pup to hang out as well!

Please let me know if your pet has any specific medical or dietary concerns as well as vaccine history and flea/tick/heart worm prevention. I do appreciate knowing which vet in the area you utilize in the case of any emergencies as well - thankfully I have fantastic relationships with numerous clinics in the area so rest assured that if you are unavailable your pet will still get any care they need! I do have cats and a young son at home as well so pets MUST be well mannered.
A typical day
Generally we are up by 7 thanks to my young son. My pup goes out to potty and then gets breakfast. If it will be a warm day we try to get a walk around the block in early to beat the heat, otherwise we will do one after the sun sets! The rest of the day is filled with lounging on the couch and playing outside.

I work 3 ten hour shifts weekly. I work close to home so am able to let out the pups for lunch time! When I am not working I am a home body.
