Pet care experience
Just like most dogs, I make friends with everyone I meet, canine, feline, and human alike. I have trained my own dogs using positive reinforcement and will always praise good behavior (sitting, staying, going potty outside, etc.), since that's the sort of thing we want to keep up with our cuddly friends. I am just as happy to take care of cats, so if you have both, that works too! I look forward to meeting you and your family of furbabies! My experience included raising my own dogs in my home from puppies, including housebreaking, learning to use a leash and walk with me rather than pulling, teaching tricks, teaching to use a kennel, puppy pad training, caring for senior dogs/special needs dogs and more.

Rachael did great with Roxy and was flexible with my schedule. However, I would NOT recommend for house sitting. She was not respectful of my property and ate a variety of expensive food without asking and I never implied she could help herself to my food and expensive coffee. If you use her, please use boarding in her own home so you can come back to your property.
Rachael was a pleasure to meet! My pups really liked her at the time of the meet and greet which made it easier to book. She stayed with my great dane and boxer/lab mix for 5 days, kept me updated, and sent pictures daily helping me rest easy knowing they were being cared for and loved on! I definitely plan to book with Rachael again in the future! She was great to work with! I highly recommend her!
Rachael is so caring and loving with our dog, Ginger. She walks her and feeds her exactly the way we asked and even sends us photos of her playing so we know Ginger is safe and having a good time while we're away. Rachael also tidied up our house while we were away, which was a very nice surprise! We will definitely be booking her again in the future!
Rachael Woodard is the best dogsitter I have ever had! She sent me progress pics whenever she fed or walked my dogs, let me know if the dogs were nervous about us being gone, and even cooked up eggs and beef for our dog's meals. Our dogs absolutely love her. She threw the ball for Pippin and played tug-of-war with Puck and told us all about how much fun they were having. Rachael also made sure that the dogs were inside during the hottest time of day so their paws did not get hurt in the summer heat. She is a trustworthy and reliable dogsitter, and we will definitely be booking again soon!

Familiarity is important in getting the dog to be comfortable with me, so I want to so everything I can to befriend your dog. What are the dog's favorite activities/toys? Does your dog do well around other dogs or people/children? Would your dog enjoy some time at the dog park?
A typical day
Dogs can look forward to walking in familiar areas with me, wherever they are most confortable. I love to play tug-of-war or throw the ball for pups to get even more exercise and enjoy the outdoors. I also love to sing lullabies, so if there is a scary thunderstorm or something, I can cuddle them, sing to them, and tell them it will all be okay.
