Pet care experience

My dogs truly are my world and I know yours are too! It's so hard to leave them but it definitely helps when you're leaving them with someone you trust to care for them the way you would. Beyond my own pack of 3 (ranging from the 55lb German Shorthair/Vizsla to the 80lb Pitbull), I have also fostered for several years and have volunteered at the local animal shelter. I have experience with the most difficult of dogs and safety is my number one priority. After that, it's all about FUN! I'm big on doing enrichment activities and making sure your pup gets to have fun, fulfilling experiences while you're away. Because I know services can get expensive for multi-pet households, I've kept my 'additional dog' and 'cat care' rates as affordable as possible but please don't hesitate to reach out if you have special circumstances.

Rachael transported my 130 pound grandpuppy to Virginia Beach to reunite him with my son in the NAVY. Rachael was confident with Steve even though he is huge and a little headstrong. She really understands and loves dogs for who they are. She was very careful about his safety, health, and happiness for the trip. I would totally trust her with any of my animals and even my children! Great person!

You won’t find a better, loving dog sitter than Rachael. She fostered our dog before we adopted him and has watched him many times since. We trust her with our Louis more than anyone.

Rachel has taken care of my dog as a responsible foster dog owner. She did an excellent job making sure my dog was feed appropriately with good food, given water at all times and had adequate time to play and exercise and sleep. She helped my dog work on her fear of being in her crate when needed. She did well socializing my dog with other dogs in her home and making sure they interacted well. She always made sure my dog had a safe home with a place to sleep and the right toys.

Rachel is a awesome loving person who has a true passion for dogs. She and her husband adopted a pup from my old job who had been neglected after already being adapted by a previous family two weeks before to be kicked out on the street two weeks later. His name was smitty at the time and now his name is Deuce, and she gave him a forever loving home with her beautiful girl Justice. I was able to witness Deuce in his new home and he was the most happy pup I've ever seen. She awesome with dog behavior and she's even given me tip on treat and enrichment items for pup of all kind. She dedicates her life to her pups they are her children as mines are to me and I wouldn't second guess her to care for my pups if needed. She volunteers at shelters and she attends pup event frequently I love this lady and if there's anyone one that has a big heart heart for fur babies it's her. Thanks Rach for being so awesome!

It is truly my privilege to care for your pets and your home. I rely on positive reinforcement and enrichment so pets have a great experience!

Information Rachael W. would like to know about your pet

Obviously, any behavior issues are important to know for safety purposes and so that I can reinforce any training that you may be doing already. I'd also really appreciate knowing things your dogs DO like - how can I make sure that they really enjoy the visit? I'm 100% breed friendly! While I tend to gravitate toward the big bully breeds, little dogs need love too and I'm happy to make sure they're loving life too.

A typical day

Whether it's a walk around your neighborhood, a hike in the park or a snuffle mat feeding on a rainy day, it's all about exercise and enrichment. It's important that dogs get to experience new things daily and we'll work all their senses!
