Pet care experience
I have a love for animals and would love to take care of yours while you are away. I am currently studying Communication at the University of Connecticut, along with working part-time at Mashamoquet Brook State Park seasonally. I am available most days and find myself to be rather flexible. I understand how much your dog means to you and I will make sure to give him/her the best care possible. I have grown up with dogs, and currently own two, so I have 9+ years of experience taking care of dogs. There has never been a time when there hasn’t been a dog present in my life. With that, I can assure you that your pets will be in the best care with me. When I’m taking care of them, they are my #1 priority and I will treat them as my own. I typically take my dogs on hiking trails and would love to treat your dogs to the same fun! Or if your dog is older and needs to keep it easy, I am just as happy with cuddles on the couch and making sure they are getting their meds. I am not an in-and-out caregiver when it comes to your pets. I will take the time to give them attention and play/rest time (depending on their needs). I am also available to take care of your cats. I have grown up with cats as well and currently have 8 of my own (I’m a bit of a crazy cat lady)! Within the past couple years, I have rescued many cats, including kittens. I have years of experience taking care of cats. Whether your cat is active and loves to play or if your cat is older and needs medicine several times a day and rest, I can assure you that I will treat your feline friend with love and care. I had a senior cat several years ago that needed medicine 3+ times a day. I would do the same for your cat any day.

Great to know my fur baby is taken care of while I’m away. Nice to have the updates everyday about her with pictures. I have a note that says when Rachael arrives and leaves. There is also a list of what went on, fed, water, and bathroom updates. Plus a message from her about how my kitty was doing. I recommend Rachael & will ask her to watch my fur family again!
Rachael has been taking care of my black lab and chihuahua for a year now. I depend on her and she always has my back when I need her to take care of my dogs. She treats them like they’re her own and that’s the best kind of care I could ask for. She is the definition of going above and beyond. She puts her heart into caring for animals. She is the only one I trust to take care of my dogs.
Rachael has been taking care of my dogs for several years now. She is so friendly and professional and truly cares about my dog, Lucy. Lucy truly adores Rachael and waits anxiously for my husband and I to go on vacation or out of town just so Rachael can take care of her! She also walks Lucy and keeps her fit as I work full time. Don’t know what I’d do without her! She is truly wonderful.
Rachael takes care of my chocolate lab and rotweiler when I’m working or on vacation. She treats them as her own and goes above and beyond to treat them with the utmost care and love. She always sends me photos of them by my request and gives me updates on how they’re doing. She also walks them for me taking them on hikes which my pups LOVE. I don’t trust anyone but Rachael to take care of them. She is also very reliable and flexible with her schedule. When I am in a squeeze or it’s an emergency and I need someone to take care of my dogs, Rachael has my back which proves how much she cares for her clients and their dogs.

A typical day
I live right near Mansfield Hollow which is a great spot for me to take dogs that I am caring for. Depending on each dog’s age and physical ability, we can go on a hike or a walk around the premises. The Airline Trail is another go-to for me. I have lots of dog toys ready for your dog when they arrive! Now that it’s summer time, I love getting any dog outside to enjoy the weather. When I come to do a pop in visit or care for your dog over night, I won’t be absent in playing with your dog and giving them my full attention. Depending on your breed of dog, their ability and breed, I’d love to get them outside exercising by playing fetch with a frisbee or ball.
