Hi there my name is Rachael. I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and am the type of person that can’t help myself from asking “can I pet your dog??” any chance I get. I have an unconditional kind of love for all cats and dogs and would be so thrilled to look after them while you are away, at work, or needing an extra hand. I currently working night and raising my own puppy so my schedule is relatively flexible and accommodating. I would prefer to bring my own puppy with me (4 month old beagle/boxer mixed names Jax). This could give your dog added exercise, play time, and socialization while you are away. If that is not something you are okay with then no problem! I can leave him it home. Important: can only accept house sitting jobs if puppy is able to come (he is crate trained, house trained, and not allowed on furniture). I am very responsible and if you need a house sitter I would be more than happy to help. Your dogs would be my biggest priority during my stay. I am tidy and organized so could maintain the house as well. As for walks I know all of the best spots around town for pups to venture and would be happy to explore those new and old to me with your dogs by my side. ADDED BONUS: guarantee some top-notch, professional photos of your dog or cat with each visit

Rachael is always great with Izzy! Today she took her on a long hike, gave her tons of exercise and even helped us teach her to listen to commands while off leash in a safe environment. She treats her like like family!

I really love all dog types and especially enjoy how different individual dogs are from one another. My favorite part of interacting with a new dog is getting to know their personality and quirks. Part of the fun for me is getting to know the dog myself, but I think it is important for me to know any make or breaks for your dog. By this I mean is there anything crucial for me to know that could impact their safety This could be things such as if they are a runner, if they are not socialized well with other dogs, etc.
A typical day
I love to get dogs out and about exploring new places and trails. I love the outdoors and think that dogs benefit from being able get off roads and into some trails. I love exploring parks and trails near and far. Comfortable with both on leash and off leash walking cup

Availability
I currently work nights as a bartender. Shifts are typically 5pm-12am so for house sitting your pup must be okay being alone for this time! My days are free and open currently so they will get LOTS of play time and walking to be tuckered out by shift start anyways!
