Pet care experience
Besides having grown up with two dogs, I also have two years experience as an animal shelter volunteer, dog walking and doing socialization time. I am also a foster mom who has cared for multiple pre-adoptable kittens and cats full time, mostly medical fosters (meaning I am comfortable administering most meds as needed!). I love animals, live with three full time currently (two cats and a dog), and am looking forward to working with you and your furry friend!

Rachael took great care of my dog! She was responsive and easy to schedule a meet and greet with, and went out of her way to make sure that my dog got the best walks possible. I would happily ask her to walk my dog again in the future!

Rachael would be an excellent choice as your pet sitter. She has cared for our two cats many times. Rachael is very conscientious, will give your pets lots of love while you're away, and is just a great human being. When Rachael has watched our cats, we've always felt secure knowing that our critters were in good hands.
We LOVE Rachael!! Incredible dog sitter and walker! Cannot recommend her enough and my pup absolutely loves every time Rachael comes over to dog sit :)

I am comfortable crating, spending time outside on walks or in yards, and any kind of feeding routine. I also believe in socialization for pets, and will spend time with your animal to ensure they are comfortable and cared for before I leave for the day.

I can manage a lot of different types of dog and cat temperaments, but I do request that animals who bite or mouth are humanely muzzled for walks and playtime. I also would like to know in advance if your animal can be aggressive or if they pull on walks or around other animals. I am a small person and want to make sure I can take the best care of your dogs in public!
A typical day
I love exploring new places on walks and letting your dog enjoy their outside time! I have fun playing with energetic dogs, running around and playing with toys. I also love quality time with cats, cuddling, playing, and stimulating their brains.

I work completely remotely and can leave the house when needed, accommodating for my meetings when they happen. As long as you are within walking distance of me, we can land on a schedule that works for both me and the needs of your animals!
