I absolutely adore animals. I've grown up with pets and couldn't imagine my life without a furry friend to love. When I was old enough, I got a dog of my own. I named him Gizmo and he is 7 pounds of complete cuteness (at least in my opinion;) He is my world. My other dog, Jules, is our family dog. She is a 3 year old, 74 pound, pit bull mix and we rescued her from a shelter. She is also my world and an amazing, cute, loveable dog. Unfortunately she has addison's disease, so I have to take her to the vet monthly for injections and check ups. Caring for a sick dog is a lot of work, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Though much of my experience has been caring for my own dogs, I can promise you that I will care for yours as if they were my own. I feel comfortable and confident performing any pet care responsibilities for all types and sizes of dogs- walking, feeding, brushing, playing, taking him/her to the vet, administering medication, etc. Thus far, I've dog sat for two families. The first family had 2 large dogs and the second had three. My responsibilities were feeding them, playing with them, exercising them, and simply just hanging out and loving on them. I found these experiences rewarding and fun. In addition to wanting to care for animals, I spend my days teaching elementary school children. I am also a volunteer baby cuddler at a hospital. Taking care of others is like second nature to me and I promise you won't be disappointed if you hire me!
