I gave this Walker a second chance after a miscommunication on her first walk. Both times, the one prior and this one, she did not activate her rover app to show her route status. If not for my ring doorbell with video, I would have never known if she had actually taken my dog for a walk. I paid for 30 mins and she only took my dog for a 15 minute walk. When she initially approached my house, it appeared as though she was on the phone or FaceTime with someone which made me uneasy as she had shown him my wag lockbox which would have the key to my home. I also have a Petcube camera which dispenses treated throughout the day to my dog and also has a camera which I view her when I am at work. Since the ring doorbell indicated that she left and came back within 15 minutes I was curious to find out what was going on. When I live streamed through the Petcube camera, I saw Rachael just sitting on my couch, still talking to probably the same person from earlier and not really giving much attention to my dog. I even caught her vaping in my home. When the 30 minutes was up, she sent me a message saying that she was able to take the dog for a walk and no problems but failed to include that she was in my house for the 15 of those 30 minutes, relaxing. I did not get a message saying that her rover app had failed that day and she has said in the past that the “rover app doesn’t work for a lot of people and it wasn’t working for me and I called customer service many times but they haven’t fixed it yet”. I called into Rover customer service to file a complaint and they shared with me that she had never made an attempt to speak to customer service to report a problem with her app. I did mention to her the night before that my dog wasn’t feeling well and that if Nala didn’t want to go for a walk, Rachael could let her out in the backyard and play with her inside. However it didn’t seem to be the case and Nala appeared to be fine to take a walk. Rover is looking into this case as this was technically fraud, in which I paid for a service that was not completed. Are usually like to give people second chances but this was highly inappropriate behavior.

I needed to go out of town for business for a couple days and needed someone to take care of my beagle because my usual dog sitter was busy. I found Rachael and was very happy with the service she provided. She did all I asked and sent updates and pictures to let me know my dog was doing fine. Highly recommend and would use again.
