Pawsitive

Pet care experience

Pawsitive, is the attitude I apply to every aspect of my life and I would like to bring that pawsitivity to you and your dog! Let me tell you about myself... I was a CNA (certified nursing assistant) for 5 years and I have strengthened my customer service skills through compassion, care, hard-work, and good-humor. The compassion, patience, and customer service skills that CNAs use daily is not something you can teach in the classroom. CNAs are really customer service professionals who care for the sick and needy on a daily basis. For instance, some patients can perform daily tasks alone while others need constant assistance from the nursing assistant. Offering patients care and compassion while answering their questions and assisting with tasks is how a CNA, like myself, provides pawsitive customer service directly to the clients and demonstrates how I can apply those skills here while taking care of your dog. I have also worked in the hospitality industry for 3 years and it was a dog friendly hotel so I have experience catering to not only humans on vacation but their dogs as well :) I guess you could say I love to help others of all kinds. A little background of owning my own dogs and pets to let you know I have the necessary experience to walk or check in on your dog. I have had 2 dogs in the past from the time I was 13-18. a miniature beagle/rat terrier mix (named Mandro) and a Jack Russel/rat terrier mix (named Captain Morgan...cappy for short). They are living with my parents now to keep my parents company since I moved out and my apartment building doesn’t allow dogs, but my very good friend own a dog and I watch him from time to time he is a pointer/lab mix. I have also loved/owned two ferrets, Riley and Leo and now I currently have two cats named Snickers and Maya. I have a son who might be with me on the walks or potty breaks for your dog so your dog must be ok with children.
