Caring and empathetic vet student

Pet care experience

I’ve worked as a veterinary technician the last 6 years. In that time I have grown my skill set so I am comfortable administering medications, working in emergency medicine, and dealing with reactive pets who need a little extra patience. I love animals of all species and sizes. Making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable while in my care is my top priority.

Rachael goes above and beyond in giving loving attention for my cat and has given me complete peace of mind about my Kitty’s well being while I travel. I really appreciated how responsive and helpful she was when my cat got sick the night before I was leaving for a really big trip. She was able to take on additional visits, give him his medication and monitor him to make sure that he was going to be ok. Rachel sent updates all along the way and I came home to a happy and healthy kitty :)

I love getting to know what makes each animal comfortable and sticking with what makes them feel safe with someone new taking care of them. I also have a lot of experience with reactive dogs and cats who need a little extra love and attention. With my extensive tech background and experience in veterinary school I am comfortable taking care of animals with different health issues and happy to help with any sort of treatments.

Let me know what makes your pet feel the most comfortable around new people! I’m happy to learn their routines and what makes them feel safe. Please let me know if their are any behavioral issues or triggers that cause reactive behaviors. I also always like to know their medical history in case of emergencies and what vet is their primary.
