Is this a safe space? I love animals more than I love your average human being! Growing up in D.C., with the influence of my mother, whose dream was to be a marine, biologist and veterinarian, she taught me how to care for, love, and raise our furry pets as our own. Since the age of six, I’ve grown nothing but strong bonds with every single pet I’ve met along my journey. I was raised to treat every living being how you want to be treated, with love, care and affection. Much time hasn’t passed by since I was able to apply this logic to my own furry pets, Minnie (female lab, pit mixed), Mickie (female mancoon), and Venus, my three legged warrior! (female pit). I am currently a full-time employee, providing for myself. I like to travel, experience, new things, explore nature, cook, and I love art! On my free time, I spend time with my siblings, my pets and practice holistic health & healing, with intention to eventually to take care of my family and myself. Although I don’t have professional experience working in pet care, through my journey of working with kids from ages 4-13, with and without disabilities, I gained more of my love, patience, respect and care for living beings with the knowledge of treating everyone and everything how you want to be treated, especially along the journey of coparenting my three-legged warrior, Venus. It is always been my number one priority to make sure every encounter I make in life with another being ends with a smile on their face, tails waggin’ and mouths purrin! I treat all animals as if they are my own. Your furry baby deserves a second best friend, when you’re away! (P.S. I may talk too much, but the animals love it so much they talk back! :)
