Hello! My name is Rachael and I have been taking care of pets ever since I was 5 years old, and pet sitting since age 8. My mother is a veterinarian, so I grew up learning how to give the best treatment to our furry loved ones. We have had dogs and cats ever since I can remember, and a few fish along the way :) I have had experience taking care of dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, snakes, birds, aquatic animals and turtles. I also have experience administering medicine orally and intramuscularly. I would love the opportunity to provide safe care for your pet. Thanks for stopping by!

Rachael was very nice and accommodating when we needed someone to care for Rosie for the weekend. She was eager to make sure Rosie had everything she needed to be comfortable while we were gone. She sent regular updates with photos which we really appreciated! We will definitely use her in the future when we need someone to house sit.

While I am not able to provide home care, I make sure that the pet is comfortable and relaxed in their own home environment. I treat every home I enter with same amount of respect and care as I would my own! I am also able to visit client homes, walk around the neighborhood, or run around the nearest dog park.

I would love to know what breed of dog your fur baby is, size, and level of energy. If your dog does not get along well with other dogs, please let me know. Also feel free to tell me their favorite snacks, activities, and pass times!
A typical day
I am a very active person. Places I typically like to walk are neighborhoods, parks, lakes, and other community centers. I am happy to utilize any favorite toy, and/or I can provide a frisbee and ball. And best of all, a play date isn't complete without LOTS of cuddles and belly rubs. If the owner is working to teach their dog any new tricks, I would be happy to continue training while they are gone.

Availability
I work full-time, so most of my availability is on the weekends. However, do not hesitate to reach out as sometimes I may be able to squeeze in walks or house visits either early morning or after work.
