Currently I am working full time, 7-3 Monday through Friday. I can potentially take new requests, depending on the dog and the hours a day they would need my full attention! If they don’t mind waiting while I’m at work, they can hang out at home with my old pup, Toblerone. I love taking care of dogs, and I am hoping to be the sitter you choose this winter season! I’ve been dog sitting and dog walking for neighbors and family friends for years and I always get asked to watch their dogs every time they go away. I have my own vehicle for transportation so I can easily visit client’s homes. My house is big with a nice yard and we have a line set up for dogs with wide range around the yard. My family loves to have dogs stay at our house, and my dog is super friendly. Every dog that stays with us never wants to leave- they have such a good time! I also love to go for walks and runs around the Anchorage trails, and we do a lot of hiking so I can ensure plenty of exercise for your pooch. I usually go for some sort of outdoor activity every day, walking, skiing, hiking, or biking so there will be no shortage of exercise for your pet if that is what they need! I can take dogs on walks all over Anchorage and the Chugach forest. I have extensive knowledge of interesting routes around neighborhoods and trails, especially in south Anchorage. I love to throw frisbees and tennis balls for dogs to play fetch, finding big sticks in the woods is fun too. I’m very bear and moose aware, I am well trained in wildlife safety. I always carry bear spray when I go in the woods, and I never wear headphones so I can pay attention to my surroundings. I am also totally happy to hang out at home keep animals company, it's definitely nice to stay cozy inside sometimes during the winter!
