Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs since I was 10! From miniature schnauzers to fluffy huskies, I love them all in all shapes and sizes! When it comes to fur babies, my #1 is that they're happy, healthy, and SAFE!!! A close 2nd to loving dogs and animals is that I've always loved the outdoors and hiking! Because of that, walking dogs is one of my favorite outdoor activities! I grew up in a household with dogs and have loved dogs ever since. Growing up, I'd walk, feed, and play with our dogs. This resulting in me later in life watching the dogs of family members, close friends, and even work associates!

Quintilia is the best. She watched my puppy when I wasn’t able to take her on a quick trip and when I got back, she had my puppy sitting on command! She has always been accommodating to my needs when I have needed a dog sitter. Quintilia is my go to. I don’t even hesitate to reach out to her when my fur babies need a sitter.
Quintilia is a very caring and responsible pet sitter. My dogs are always excited to see her and are comfortable around her. She provides updates when needed and is very reliable and trustworthy. There is no one else I'd rather call but her! She always knows what to do.

For drop in visits: In my client's home, I ask a bunch of questions like what is their dog(s) schedule, their favorite toys, does their dog(s) have anxiety, if there are any specific instructions they have, their phone number, etc etc. I want their pets to remain happy and comfortable in their own home ❤️ For dog walking: When walking your dog, I ask the fur baby parents how their dog normally walks: do they tug, do other dogs make them nervous, how socialized are they. I like to keep your dog away from other people's pets for the safety of your dog. I like to ask the parents if they have any treats their dog is allowed to have so I can give positive reinforcement if needed. I keep dogs out of trespassing in people's property and of course, need to always have those doggy bags handy!!

Please let me know if your dog has special needs, if they anxiety, how socialized they are? Need to know if you do not want your dog interacting with other dogs and people passing by. Also need to now what tactics you use to calm them down if they get overly excited or scared. In emergencies only, are they okay with being picked up and in what way?
A typical day
I love to play with dogs mentally and physically! I love to play games with them, fetch in your fenced in area, give them all the time to safely sniff new smells on walks, play brain games like hide a treat under a blanket, test them on the tricks they know and maybe teach them a new one! Also lots of pets and scratches!

Availability
I'm currently working part-time remote so I'll have plenty of time to walk your pups and/or stop by for a quick play date and potty time! I'm available when the sun is out so typically between 7am-7pm, but my availability window grows bigger as days get longer!
