Hey pet parents! My name is Quincy, a passionate animal lover currently taking time off from Columbia University where I'm studying for my master's of science in social work. From fostering puppies to caring for all kinds of furry and feathered friends, animals have always held a special place in my heart. A considerable amount of my youth was spent in a nature-filled rural-side community which is where I learned about different animal behaviors, health issues, and proper care for our four-legged friends. I feel comfortable and knowledgeable in the care of any pup I might encounter - from the most aggressive to the most timid, to high-energy dogs, and everyone in between! In addition to my experience with dogs, I have cared for reptiles, fish, and birds and would be happy to extend my services to these creatures through Rover. I know how hard it is to be away from our canine counterparts so I am always sure to give animals in my care 100% of my attention. And because I live right by Central Park, there is always easy access to trails, grassy areas, and interesting smells, people, and sights! I will also be in consistent and constant communication, sending photo and text updates of the fun time we’re having together! I live in a wonderful apartment in Harlem, close to Central Park. This means my neighborhood is very dog and family-friendly, with wide fields and beautiful trees nearby. We’re only a minute's walk from the edge of the park where we can roam and walk, finding new and interesting places to have fun! Inside my apartment, your pup will have free reign. I welcome dogs on my bed and furniture and they can always find a cozy spot to play, sleep, or snack! Though I do live with my parents, I will be the primary caregiver to your dog.
