I'd love to help all the cat and dog mamas/papas out here just as I had in Longmont, CO and, before that, Chicago, IL. I currently have 3 cats (Kina, Nemr, & Freyja), but I grew up with dogs since the age of 8- yorkies, labs, pitbulls, German shepherds, and mixed breeds. Additionally, I helped care for my college roommate’s pitbull/red heeler mix who often had anxiety and frequent health issues. Her name is Bridget, and she was the sweetest. Due to my renter restrictions, I can't love on a pup of my own; however, I would be honored to care for yours! I'd love to give your pets the love, exercise, and attention they deserve while you're away! And I'm a huge advocate for providing pets with a great quality of life- more than just basic food and shelter :) I'm happy to do any small extraneous tasks like getting the mail, watering plants, etc. Just let me know in advance! For my cat parents out there: Because of my 3 "kids", I'm seasoned in all things cat: changing litter, oral admin of meds, treating fleas, bathing, nail trimming, de-shedding, training (sit, high-five, stand, turn-around, kiss). Qishu provided excellent care for my two dogs while visiting Oakland. Their communication was on point with setting up the logistics of the visit. They arrived on time and provided updates. Would highly recommend using them for your pet sitting needs.
Qishu (and Ian) were wonderful guests in our home, housesitters and keepers of our pups and flock of chickens. Qishu kept us updated frequently and sent lots of pictures and videos of our furbabies while we were gone. One of our pups has boundless energy and Qishu didn’t flinch! She event spent time working on commands and training the pups while we were out. She left the house cleaner than it was when we left and was very respectful. I’d recommend Qishu (and Ian) to anyone anytime.
Qishu was amazing with our high energy dog and extremely communicative with us. We received lots of updates and pictures over all the days we were gone. We would unreservedly recommend Qishu to anyone!

Does your dog or cat have particular behaviors that I should be aware of (i.e. obedience training, anxiety, medications & admin/feeding times)? Any toys or activities they particularly enjoy (i.e. cat TV, laser chasing, running, playing fetch, long walks, tricks & treats)? What is their energy level and requirements around that?
A typical day
Regardless of how long we have together, there’s always lots of attention, speaking to your furbaby(ies) in a voice a couple octaves higher than normal, smiling, and quality time (whether that be playing, snuggling, pets, etc). I take recommendations from parents on where their pup (or kitty) likes to walk or play and what they like to do. Treats and training reinforcement are also included if that’s something you’d like for us to work on while you’re away. I will feed meals and/or treats if that’s within the scope of the drop-in, stay, or walk.

I’m currently free for most of the days up until Jan 2024 which is when I go back to school to begin my career shift from sales engineer in the tech to chiropractor for people and animals.
