Pet care experience
I studied biology and received my Bachelor of Science degree from Samford University. I have interned and volunteered at the Birmingham Zoo as well as experience working as a kennel assistant at an animal clinic. Since I was a kid I’ve always had a passion to care for animals and believe that they deserve the same love and care as people do. I know that I will be able to show that with each client I work with!

Qiona is sweet and respectful when it comes to your best furry friend(s) and she will treat yours if they were her own. She is very organized and punctual, which helps ease my nerves about leaving my furry guy for the weekend because I know he will be fed properly at the right times and also made sure he is comfortable in her care.

I have a two bedroom apartment with a balcony as well as an extra large front yard and backyard around out building. The apartment complex also has walking trails/sidewalks and is less than 5 minutes away from Red Mountain.

I would just like to know some of the things that the owner might need help with as far as training or just some of the things that the animals enjoy doing.
A typical day
Whichever parks or neighborhoods that are around or any recommended or suggested places from the owners we will go to. I am very active and would love to play games or practice training exercises with them. I want the animals to feel comfortable around me and so any suggestions from the owners is welcome.

Availability
My current job is pretty flexible as I can set my own hours to work. I usually work early morning late evening, so anything outside of that works normally. For some situations concerning availability I am also willing to adjust if needed.
